Aussie Electro-Ravers ‘Van She’ have a new video out for the title track of their forth LP “Idea Of Happiness”. I’ve known of Van She for a few years now and to be honest only really took to them once I heard Crystal Castles excellent reworking of their song ‘Sex City’ for their own single ‘Vanished’. I guess I always felt there were much better options out there, with Cut Copy, Holy Ghost! and The Juan MacLean being a few worth mentioning. I absolutely loved “Kelly” though, that bassline simply kills. However, all that aside they are back this month with a refreshing, catchy, electro pop number that is as much fun as its fantastic video, directed by the wonderful Andreas Nilsson (Check out the eerie brilliance of his videos for ’Fever Ray’).
