Silver Soundz

We were left crushed back in July when Christopher Owens broke the news he was quitting girls, on his Twitter page. Girls were easily one of the best bands around and were moving in a positive direction with each quality release. However, Owens made it clear he wasn’t happy and left. We knew he’d be going solo, it was only a matter of time. Well I’ve got good news. Not only has he announced details of his first solo LP, ‘Lysandre,’ he has also made the albums first two songs ‘Lysandre’s Theme / Here We Go’ available to stream below. They flow pretty much straight into one another and are two excellent ballads making it perfectly clear that Owens hasn’t lost his knack for writing excellent music. Good to have you back Chris.
