Lykke Li has contributed to Just Tell Me That You Want Me – A Tribute To Fleetwood Mac, with a cover of “Silver Springs”. Originally written by Stevie Nicks, after her break-up from Lindsey Buckingham, it was intended for their legendary album Rumours but was left off it in favour of Buckingham’s “Go Your Own Way”. It’s always risky terrain covering a track that many fans adore, but naturally Lykke Li has left her own mark on this stunner of a tune. A real treat.

Ridiculously talented Lykke Li released this track courtesy of her new label “Ingrid” for record store day. It’s a rather intriguing song, sung beautifully as always, that slowly builds and builds, then descends into a tribal like beat towards the end. Lykke Li is an artist that seems to be getting better and better with every release. “Come Near” is as solid as anything she’s done.
