Virals have just dropped this completely out of season, but still pretty good, new track called ‘Summer Girls’. There is summery vibes all over this one, and it’s going to get stuck inside your head believe me. Starting off with a blast of fuzzy guitars and some ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ then settling into a more grunge/indie-pop feel, it’s just a really good, upbeat track. The vocals are reminiscent to Christopher Owens of Girls and the overall feel of the track isn’t a million miles off Girls sound either. So for fans still raw over their break-up, check Virals out.

Virals are the new band of Shaun Hencher (formerly of Lovvers) and they’re set to release their debut EP “Coming With The Sun” next week. They were kind enough to give away “Gloria” as a free download because it’s a real gem of a tune. Sitting somewhere inbetween punk and surf rock, with some sugar coated hooks to boot; it’s the kind of song that’ll make you want to dance. Check it out in the link above.
